Beta Rewards

Who can earn

Any MOVON account, with no limit on how many accounts earn rewards. Rewards are for people doing real editing work. MOVON Labs may exclude an account that resells access, runs matches through automation, shares sign-in credentials, operates more than one account for one person, or submits machine-generated feedback in volume. Rewards are for one person using one account. Where one person operates several accounts, MOVON Labs may combine their rewards into one account or refuse the extra accounts, and may ask you to confirm who you are before a reward is honoured.

The window

Qualifying activity has to begin by December 31, 2026. A qualification period that starts by that date runs its full length, so a clock started in late December finishes in January. Submissions made by December 31, 2026 can still be reviewed afterwards. Nothing started or submitted after that date earns anything.

Matching

Matching 100 clips within your first 3 days earns 10 percent off your first year. Matching 1,000 clips within 4 weeks, across at least 7 different days, earns 20 percent. Both clocks start at your first successful match. Counting is from MOVON's own usage records of successful matches, and those records are what decides it.

Credits

Spending your first 500 credits within 7 days of your first match adds 1,000 bonus credits. Using 1,000 credits in total adds 2,000 bonus credits, once per account. Bonus credits are usable as soon as they are granted and expire on December 31, 2027. They are not refundable and have no cash value.

Feedback

Feedback earns a discount when MOVON Labs accepts it: 5 percent for the first accepted note, 25 percent in total at three, and 50 percent in total at ten. Acceptance means MOVON Labs records the decision on your account, and the reward appears on your account's rewards page. A note counts when it is specific enough to act on. An accepted note that reports a fault also earns the bug report credit below; one submission can earn both. At most two notes per account per day enter the review queue. MOVON Labs decides what is accepted, and applies that decision consistently rather than arbitrarily.

Bug reports

Every accepted bug report earns 20 US dollars in account credit, with no limit per account. A report is accepted when MOVON Labs can reproduce it and it is the first report of that fault. Account credit is usable from January 1, 2027 and has to be applied to an invoice by December 31, 2027. It has no cash value and is not refundable.

Feature suggestions

Accepted feature suggestions earn free time on the Studio plan, in steps. One accepted suggestion is one free year. A second turns that into two years. A third turns it into three. The steps replace each other rather than adding together, three free years is the maximum, and further accepted suggestions earn no additional time.

MOVON Labs accepts a suggestion only when it judges it sound, buildable, and worth building. Acceptance is recorded on your account, the free time appears on your account's rewards page, and that record is the commitment. A suggestion has to explain what it does, the problem it solves, and what you do today instead. Where two people suggest the same thing, the earlier submission is the one that counts.

New products

An account holding three accepted suggestions also gets new products MOVON Labs releases while its free years are running, at each product's entry paid tier. A new product is one MOVON Labs sells separately, under its own name and its own pricing. New features, plans, versions, or newly supported editors of MOVON Match are not new products. This ends when the free years end.

Using what you earned

Rewards become usable on January 1, 2027, when the beta ends and paid membership begins. Bonus credits are the exception: they are usable as soon as they are granted, as the Credits section says. A discount applies to the plan you choose, on any tier, to the plan price and not to top-ups, and it lapses after your first 12 paid months. Discounts and free years have to start by December 31, 2027.

An account that earned both free years and a percentage discount uses one or the other, never both, and chooses when it redeems. Choosing the discount ends the free-year grant, including new-product access. If an account holding free years has not chosen by December 15, 2027, its free years start automatically so the deadline does not cost it the reward, and it can still ask MOVON Labs to switch to the discount within two weeks of that start. Free years run consecutively from their start date and run their full length once started. Free time covers the plan only, not top-ups or anything sold separately, and any tax due is yours.

What MOVON Labs may change

MOVON Labs may change or end the programme for future earning at any time, with the change published on the site. That does not touch a reward already earned: once you hold one, no later change to this document takes it away. If a plan named here stops being sold, the nearest equivalent plan is substituted at the same value.

A reward may be withheld or withdrawn where the account is suspended for breaking the Terms of Service, or where MOVON Labs finds that it was earned through automation, shared credentials, duplicate accounts, or feedback submitted in bulk without genuine content, including where that is discovered after the reward was granted.

What a reward is not

Rewards attach to one account, for one person. They cannot be sold, transferred, gifted, or exchanged for money, and they are not refundable. A reward is a price concession on MOVON's own plans; it is not a guarantee that any particular feature ships, that the service continues in any particular form, or that any plan keeps its current allowance. Nothing here limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
