Why MOVON

Built different.
Built for the way you edit.

Four reasons in four different sizes, because not every difference needs the same airtime.

How it works

Analyze once.
Every camera matched.

MOVON groups the cameras, picks the hero, and matches every clip. Try it below. Pick a clip to act as the hero.

Analyze — current step
Match — upcoming
LUT ready — upcoming
Click any clip to set it as the hero. MOVON matches the other two to it.

MOVON reads the timeline

Hit Analyze. MOVON groups every clip by camera, picks the hero on its own, and shows the plan. Change the hero in one click if you disagree.

See the match

Drag to see the cameras agree.

One hero camera, the rest matched to it. Left is the raw camera, right is what MOVON did. Pick a camera below.

The difference

The same match.
None of the busywork.

MOVON does not replace the colorist. It removes the part nobody wants to do. Here is what changes.

A 47-clip multicam timeline
An afternoon of sorting cameras, then matching each by hand

Long shoots, multiple units, A-cam through E-cam. MOVON normalizes every camera to the DP's chosen hero, so dailies look right on day one, not after weeks of color grading.

Roadmap

What ships now.
What comes next.

MOVON Match is in private beta. Here is the honest state of it. No dates promised, just the order things land in.

Shipping nowIn the private beta today

Premiere Pro panel

A docked UXP panel inside Premiere, with a local match engine running beside it. No upload, no account.

Timeline analysis & matching

MOVON reads the timeline, groups every clip by camera, picks the hero, and generates a .cube LUT per group. The full match chain, on your Mac.

In progressActively being built

One-click timeline apply

Writing every generated LUT back across the whole timeline in a single click, as one undo step. The match is ready; this is the piece being wired up now.

Auto / Manual mode

Let MOVON drive the whole match, or take the wheel. Override the hero, the grouping, or any single clip.

Match confidence

A per-clip confidence read, so the cameras that need a second look are the ones that say so.

PlannedOn the way, not dated yet

DaVinci Resolve & Final Cut Pro

The same match engine, wrapped for two more editors. Same backend, new panels.

HDR & Rec.2020 output

Matching ships in Rec.709 today. Wide-gamut and HDR delivery are in active development.

Cloud option & Windows

The beta is fully local by design. An optional cloud engine and a Windows build come after launch.

Plans shift as the beta teaches MOVON Labs what matters. This list moves with it. Last reviewed May 2026.

FAQ

Common questions.

Honest answers. If yours isn't here, MOVON Labs reads every line at hello@movonlabs.com.

It reads a multicam timeline in Premiere, groups the clips by camera on its own, picks a hero camera, and generates a standard 33³ .cube LUT for each camera group. The output is a set of LUTs that pull every camera toward the hero: the unglamorous "matching" step that usually eats an afternoon of manual work, done in one Analyze click.

MOVON does one job (match the cameras on a multicam timeline) and does it across the whole timeline at once, not clip by clip. It reads color from every camera with a custom AI pipeline (two ONNX models on your Mac) rather than presets or per-model profiles, so it works on cameras MOVON has never "seen." It is not a creative grading tool; the creative grade is still yours, after the match.

Yes, by design. MOVON groups clips by their color characteristics, not by a per-model lookup, so there is no supported-camera list to check. As long as a display LUT is applied (S-Log3 → Rec.709, C-Log → Rec.709, V-Log → Rec.709, and so on), every camera works the same, including ones MOVON has never been shown.

No. MOVON Match runs entirely on the machine. Frame sampling, camera grouping, LUT generation, all local. There is no upload, no account, no connection required to match cameras (only to download plugin updates). A cloud option is on the roadmap as an optional, opt-in mode for later.

MOVON Match is in private beta and the inference path is still being tuned, so MOVON Labs is not quoting a firm number yet. The target is a full multicam timeline matched in under a minute on an M-series Mac. The real figures land here once they are measured.

MOVON generates one .cube LUT per camera group and exports them from the panel. Drop each .cube onto its camera's clips in Lumetri, or carry them into DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut, since they are standard 33³ files. One-click apply across the whole timeline, through MOVON's own effect, is in active development for the private beta.

The fastest fix is usually the hero camera. MOVON picks one on its own, but the choice is one click to override. A bad hero (color cast, off-exposure) pushes that bias across the timeline. Pulling the Lumetri Look intensity to 70-80% when applying the .cube also softens an over-aggressive match.

All planned, none shipping yet. MOVON outputs Rec.709 today; HDR / Rec.2020 output is on the roadmap. DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro panels are planned next, in that order. Windows comes after launch. The private beta is macOS-only by design. No dates promised. The order lives on the roadmap.

MOVON is free until January 2027. After that, $9.90/month or $99.90/year. The early-access list gets first crack at the paid plan and the launch terms when they're set.
