Free Beta

Match every camera to any reference you want.

A timeline shot on more than one camera never quite matches. Point MOVON, the AI colorist inside your editor, at the reference you want, and it carries that look across every clip: drone, phone, and action cam pulled right up to your cinema cameras.

Free during the private beta. No card.

See the match

A fresh match on every frame.

One reference in, this out. MOVON recomputes the match on every frame, so a mixed-camera timeline holds together.

As shotMatched

Same reference, every camera.

MOVON Match Engine

Not a filter. Not a LUT. A trained model, working every frame.

Reads the image, not the metadata

The engine works from the picture itself. No camera profiles, no color charts, no sidecar files.

Inference, frame by frame

As light shifts inside a shot, the engine recomputes the match so the look never drifts.

Trained on real footage

Built on thousands of graded images and retrained as new footage arrives. Phone, drone, log, RAW, CGI, it has seen them all.

Never locked to one look

One clip. Every look you can imagine.

Not sure yet? Change the reference and rematch in a click. Same clip, every look, until it feels right. Free during the beta, so try them all.

Any source

Whatever you shot on, it matches.

Cinema camera, phone, drone, stock, even AI frames. MOVON reads the picture, not a data sheet, so where it came from stops mattering. Pick a source and watch it fall in line.

Any reference

Choose any visual reference or photographic process. MOVON reproduces its imaging behavior consistently across footage from any camera or source.

Technical and stylistic

It matches both the camera (technical) and the look (stylistic) in a single pass, tailored to your inputs instead of one fixed filter.

How it works

Pick a reference, then match.

Two steps, right in your editor. No exporting, no round-trips, no learning curve. Tap one to see it in the panel.

Looks Library

Your own look library.

Every match you love is saved. Build a library that is yours: a warm look for one client, a cool one for another, the grade you reach for every episode. Pull any of them onto a new job in one click, and a series stays consistent shot after shot.

Your footage never leaves your machine.

The biggest worry with an AI tool is your frames landing on someone else’s servers. Not here. MOVON reads your footage locally and sends only color data. No images, no video, nothing you can watch leaves your machine.

Compare

A better match, frame by frame.

Most tools stamp one look on the whole shot, or make you dial in camera profiles first. MOVON is a trained AI model that re-matches every frame, in minutes, with nothing to set up. Hover any cell for the detail.

FAQ

Good to know.

Honest answers. If yours isn't here, MOVON Labs reads every line at hello@movonlabs.com.

It is a model MOVON trained specifically for color matching. It reads the pixels of the footage and the reference and builds a fresh match every run, per clip and per frame. Nothing comes from a preset library.

No. Clips are analyzed on your machine, and only the color and scene data needed for the match goes to MOVON's servers. Frames, video, and project files never leave your computer.

Premiere Pro today, as a docked panel. DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut Pro are in development on the same engine, and the standard file each match exports already opens in any software that reads it.

They are next on the roadmap. No date is promised until they pass real testing, and beta accounts hear first.

Creating a match needs an internet connection and a MOVON account, since the model runs on MOVON's servers. Once exported, a match works forever and fully offline, whatever happens to the service.

It happens, and hard footage is exactly what the beta exists to harden. Swap the reference and rematch in one click, pull the intensity back, or adjust the exported file by hand. Nothing is baked in.

Yes. Every match exports as a standard file: tweak it, grade on top of it, or ship it as-is. The creative grade stays yours.

Either. Select the clips you want or run the full timeline, and the model builds a real match for every selected clip, shot to shot, in minutes.

One credit matches one clip. Exporting is always free, and a saved match can be reused without spending again. Only new footage is a new match.

Credits go live with per-clip plans, and beta accounts get founding rates. Everything already matched keeps working, and nothing created during the beta expires.

Yes. The model reads the picture, not a data sheet, so there is no supported-camera list and no metadata requirement. Footage with wrong or missing metadata matches the same way.

The free options stall the moment footage stops being tidy: one needs a color chart in frame, one only knows a fixed list of cameras, one gets close and then hands the rest to a colorist. MOVON was built for the footage that breaks them.

Yes. The Looks Library saves any match as a reusable look and applies it in one click. Built for series, repeat clients, and brand work.

The Studio plan shares one credit pool across a team, so every project draws from a single balance. During the beta, each editor simply creates a free account, and team seats are being shaped by beta feedback.
