Get MOVON for Premiere Pro.
● Free through January 2027. Notified on release.
● MOVON’s AI does the match. It sends color data only, never your footage.
Your footage never leaves the machine. macOS, Premiere Pro · signed by MOVON Labs.
If your Mac runs Premiere, it runs MOVON.
The heavy lifting happens on MOVON’s servers, not on your machine, so there is no extra hardware to buy. The docked panel sends only color data and brings back the finished match. Your footage never leaves your machine, only color data does.
Who we are.
MOVON was built by two people: a filmmaker who spent fifteen years watching color eat the hours that belonged to the story, and an engineer who had spent those same years teaching machines to see. One lived the problem. The other could build the model to solve it. MOVON Match is what happened when they compared notes.
MOVON Labs ships color tools, and edits with them.

Changelog.
MOVON Match is in private beta. Every build below has shipped to beta accounts, listed as it happened. The blog carries the longer story.
Sync and update errors now resolve themselves instead of repeating
- fixA single corrupted record during Looks sync no longer blocks the rest of the sync. That record is skipped; everything else syncs normally.
- fixThe background updater now reports file-permission problems clearly instead of failing silently.
- improvedA persistent update blocker (like a missing system certificate) is reported once, not on every panel launch, until it's resolved.
- fixA slow sign-in token refresh no longer locks up the rest of the panel.
A failed save is no longer reported as a success
- fixIf a match fails to save, the panel now says so clearly instead of showing a false success message.
- fixAn action on an inactive sequence card no longer affects a different open sequence.
- fixAn interrupted group deletion no longer leaves the card out of sync with the real state.
- fixA brief connection blip no longer lets cards from a different project appear, or get deleted, by mistake.
- fix"Problem clip" warnings now persist correctly across a panel restart instead of disappearing.
- fixA rare flash of stale card data on screen is gone.
- improvedSequence cards sort correctly by most-recently-matched.
- fixThe "clips matched" counter on a card is corrected, and now reads out to screen readers.
- fixThe Clips window's close button stays reachable at the panel's smallest size (320×400).
- improvedEight in-panel dialogs are now properly announced by screen readers, and Dev Mode opens with the keyboard too.
Looks Library and the account menu fit at the panel's smallest size
- fixAt the panel's minimum supported size, Looks Library content used to sit behind the toolbar and was nearly invisible. It now measures the real toolbar height and stays clear of it.
- fixThe account menu could overflow the bottom of the panel at that same small size. It now scrolls within itself, so items like sign out stay reachable.
New Rec709 button converts without picking a reference
- newA Rec709 button next to Match converts straight to the Rec.709 standard, no reference clip or film stock required. Select clips and go.
Dragging the app to Trash now uninstalls it cleanly
- fixRemoving MOVON by dragging it to Trash (instead of using an uninstaller) used to leave the background service, Premiere panel, and other files behind. The background service now notices and cleans up after itself.
Panel menu link and app icon fixes
- fixA movonlabs.com link is always visible in the panel menu now, even before signing in, so users who install just the panel can always find their way to an account.
- fixThe app icon in Applications now displays correctly.
Reference buttons now stay visually consistent
- fixThe Upload reference button now matches the look of the other two reference buttons after an upload finishes or resets, instead of swapping its own icon and label.
Deleting a group no longer breaks a different group's match
- fixDeleting a color group used to force-refresh whatever clip sat at the playhead, which could reset that clip's color even if its own match was still valid. Only the deleted group's own clips refresh now.
Star an uploaded reference straight from its card
- newAn uploaded image or clip reference can be starred into My Looks directly from the reference card, right after upload, instead of only from the Looks library.
Fewer false 'already grouped' warnings on multicam files
- fixUngrouped clips from the same multicam source no longer get mistakenly flagged as belonging to another group when the match location is ambiguous.
Matching inside nested sequences is more reliable
- improvedMatching inside nested sequences now tracks clip identity instead of timeline position, so it stays correct even after the timeline changes.
Panel fixes: sequence graph, My Looks, clip list
- fixMatched groups now color only their own matched positions on the sequence graph. A repeat of the same source elsewhere in the sequence no longer colors incorrectly.
- improvedMy Looks switched to a compact single-row list view.
- fixClearer spacing between the clip count and status label on group badges.
- improvedThe clip list window uses standard scrolling behavior for long lists.
- fixSaved looks and matches now persist correctly across a restart, no rescrub required.
Faster backend, camera-accurate Rec.709 conversion
- improvedThe matching backend moved to a faster native engine, with no change to how matches look or the panel workflow.
- newDeterministic Rec.709 conversion for six common camera log profiles (S-Log3, V-Log, ARRI LogC3, Canon Log3, RED Log3G10, DJI D-Log), usable standalone or combined with a match.
- improvedLarge multicam sequences (600+ clips) match more consistently, with fewer timeouts on big batches.
